    Grilled Buttermilk Chicken Tenders

    This grilled buttermilk chicken tenders recipe is super easy to make and flavorful. I find it comes out best when you marinate the chicken for at least 4 hours. It's a perfect recipe to make to prep in the morning before work, let it marinate all day, then toss it on the grill when you get home. Definitely an easy, tasty weeknight dinner on the grill.

    Grilled Buttermilk Chicken Tenders

    Gather up your ingredients.

    Ingredients for Grilled Buttermilk Chicken Tenders

    In a small bowl, whisk together the marinade ingredients.

    Add the chicken and marinade to a large baggie and refrigerate for 8 hours.

    Buttermilk Marinade

    Grill on medium for 3-4 minutes on each side, until cooked through.

    Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes on a plate loosely covered with foil to allow the juices to distribute evenly. Enjoy!

    Easy, flavorful buttermilk marinade makes for a juicy and delicious grilled chicken tenders dinner.

    Ingredients

    Scale

    2 lbs. chicken tenders
    ¾ cup buttermilk
    2 teaspoons minced garlic
    ½ teaspoon Kosher salt
    1-2 fresh sprigs of thyme

    Instructions

    1. In a small bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, garlic, and salt.
    2. Add the marinade, chicken, and thyme to the baggie.
    3. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
    4. Discard marinade and grill tenders for 3-4 minutes on each side, until  fully cooked.
