The perfect frozen strawberry margarita recipe is here! Strawberries are in season!! It's the perfect time to blend them up and make strawberry margaritas. You need your vitamin C, right? This strawberry margarita recipe is super delicious and is a close rival of my favorite, the blue margarita.
Gather up your ingredients.
In a blender, puree strawberries until smooth. You don't want any chunks of strawberry, you want it nice and smoooooth. Now add ¼ c. freshly squeezed lime juice, 3 tbs. triple sec, 3 tbs. simple syrup, 2 cups of ice, and 1 cup of tequila. Blend it all together until smooth. If you like sugar-rimmed glasses for this sweet tequila delight, a great trick is to cut a small piece of lime and then rub it on top of the rim, then dip the glass into some sugar. The lime juice will cause the sugar to stick to the rim. Add a nice strawberry on top for decoration and you're good to go!
